iPowerWeb is a shared host with “dynamic content” features and some complicated marketing guides. Additionally, domains registered through iPowerWeb come with WHOIS guard protection for each domain (like NameCheap’s domains do!). We’ve been told that iPowerWeb is more expensive and a little bit slower than most web hosts.

Bluefish is a single-offering web host with all the regular features, a money back guarantee and toll-free support. Instead of using the popular cPanel/DirectAdmin, they use “VDECK” a proprietary solution with an online site builder (similar to Geocities) and automatic installation of many popular scripts.

The “employee-owned” web hosting solution. DreamHost claims to “do things a little differently” than the other web hosts. Offering unlimited everything and most of the “extra” features of other shared hosts, DreamHost has revolutionized the market in a lot of ways. Other web hosts hate DreamHost. DreamHost goes as far as to claim that they are carbon neutral (just to supplement the fact that they have great value).
